Dine Out for Life Lab
Help support the open house gardens with something you do everyday - eating dinner!
The following restaurants will be donating proceeds from the following nights to gardens participating in the open house. Click on the restaurant name for restaurant information..
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, September 14, 15, and 16 from 6:00-9:00 - Woodstock Pizza, Santa Cruz. Must present this flyer at time of purchase for proceeds to benefit Life Lab - print and share!
- Tuesday, September 22, 4:00-9:00pm - Fresh Choice, Capitola. Must present this flyer at time of purchase for proceeds to benefit Life Lab - print and share!
- Tuesday, September 29, 5:00-9:00pm - Tony & Albas, Santa Cruz. Good for takeout and dining in, no deliveries. Mention you are dining out for school gardens when you order.
- Tuesday and Wednesday, October 6-7, 6:00-9:00pm - Hawgs Seafood, Santa Cruz
- Tuesday, October 13, Center Street Grill, Santa Cruz. Call for reservations 423-4745 and let them know your are eating out for Life Lab.

School Garden Open House
Showcasing 30 years of garden-based learning in the Santa Cruz Area. Saturday, September 12, 10:30-1:30
In 1978 Green Acres School Garden was founded in Santa Cruz, CA.
This garden set the stage for the development of The Life Lab Science Program and a multitude of thriving school gardens in the area.
We expect ten or more gardens to open their gates to share the magic that they create. Download open house poster to share with others.
