Life Lab In the News - Life Lab Camp cultivates a love of learning

Audrina Silva, left, and Luna Tischler fill seeding six-packs with potting soil at Life Lab Camp at the UC Santa Cruz Farm Thursday morning before planting dill and cilantro seeds in the dirt. The two were among 24 youngsters at camp this week, concluding the last of six 1-week sessions. Life Lab Camp provides kids an opportunity to explore nature by planting seeds, harvesting vegetables, making farm-fresh snacks, singing songs and doing hands-on environmental crafts.
